Ohlins rear shock and steering damper, Marchesini forged 10-spoke magnesium wheels, Brembo cast-iron full-floating front rotors, Brake Tech full-floating rear rotor. Brembo radial brake and clutch master cylinders, STM qucik change carrier and sproket, 520 DID ERV-2 chain. |
| OTHER: | The bike is currently undergoing some upgrades which will include a Marchesini magnesium swingarm, radial brakes, some anodized billet bits and some additional paint work. |
| SIGNIFICANCE: | Completed in 2000, this ground-up custom Ducati started off as a bare 1997 916 frame. It is intended to look like a Superbike/Monster cafe racer. Awarded Best Superbike at Ducati Revs America 2001 and featured in numerous shows and magazines, it was most recently awarded Best Modified Superbike at round 1 of the Ducati Superbike Concorso in Fontana, CA, April 2007. It was also displayed at round 2 of the Ducati Superbike Concorso on Ducati Island at the MotoGP races at Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA. |
