ENGINE:Engine is stock except for the addition of Fast by Ferracci Carbon Fiber Slip-ons and FbF Stage 1 chip. Other upgrades include Samco Sport silicone coolant hoses, Barnett Clutch plates, and a K&N filter.
CHASSIS:Chassis is stock except for the addition an adjustable steering damper, Fren Tubo Kevlar brake and clutch lines, and Sprocket Specialties 39-tooth rear sprocket.
OTHER:Other upgrades include a Corbin Saddle, Pro Italia "Flying D" vented clutch cover, and Pirelli Dragon tires.
SIGNIFICANCE:The 888 was the genesis of the modern Superbike. Piloted by Doug Polen it won world championships in 1991 and 1992 and the US championship in 1993.

The 1993 888 SPO was the homologation model sold only in the US and had a total production run of only 299 units. It is still one of the most admired and sought after models in Ducati history.

Mine is a perfect example of the breed with all of the typical upgrades of the period. I've tried to keep it true to it's roots and heritage.
