| SIGNIFICANCE: | This MOTION SBK was the first 1098 to be built by MOTION and the first to have a full set of Race suspension and Braking. The front end alone cost nearly $23,000, which is more than the entire bike was new. It was built in record time as the bike was not received by MOTION until late April and completed July 13th. Carbon pieces had to be sourced from ALL over the planet. Some pieces came from Germany, UK, Italy, California, Texas, Florida, and New Hampshire. Most of the pieces needed to fit the Gas Charged forks didn't exisit and had to be designed and then CNC machined. We spent nearly $1700 just fabricating these pieces with nearly 40+ hours into design. ALL in ALL cost to build including the bike was $57,000 and came complete with its very own ATA Certified Travel Case with removable casters. The bike is so well done, it appears that it came like this straight from the Ducati Factory itself! Pictures don't do it Justice! The garage just insn't good enough anymore, so we keep this one in the house. |
