SIGNIFICANCE:	This superbike was born as a 2004 749 Dark. The inspiration was Doug Chandler's AMA Formula Extreme bike and falling in love with the whole embodiment of it. I purchased this bike as a leftover in 2005 and partnered with David Lillard to make this project come to life. The bike was dismantled to the frame and the frame and wheels were painted Ducati Red. The nose and tail were also painted white with red pinstripes. The motor was also dismantled and a big bore kit was then installed. The head was ported and polished, valves were cut, cams were degreed. A Zard Full exhaust system was installed along with a Power Commander. An Ohlins steering damper, a slipper clutch and slave cylinder were installed along with other after market pieces such as CRG levers, clutch and sprocket covers, carbon rear fender. Rear sets and exhaust heat shield were powder coated. This superbike makes a healthy 120bhp at the rear wheel. Thank you and Enjoy this one of a kind superbike!
