ENGINE:	I purchased this bike was used with 66 miles on it. The previous owner had installed a Ducati Corsa slipper clutch, a Termignoni racing exhaust with chip, special rear sets with electric Slick Shifter ,and a red high performance chain. The 999 R has a sand cast crankcase with titanium rods and many of the special parts used in the factory superbikes.
CHASSIS:	Upgrades to the chassis include Heli Bars, and more carbon fiber on everything that was not already carbon fiber, Marchesini forged fully machined wheels, Ohlins forks and rear shock, and the beautiful Carbon Fiber bodywork. One of the neatest items is the Ducati 999 R on the fairings is not painted but is carbon fiber showing through the beautiful Ducati red.
OTHER:	This bike was purchased last year before I had an operation so I was unable to ride many miles. This year I plan to put many more enjoyable miles on it.
SIGNIFICANCE:	The 999 R is an absolutely fantastic rider. It has all of the finest components and is very close to the factory race bikes.
