| ENGINE: | The original engine has been reworked to improve performance while maintaining ridability. The stock 748cc engine was rebuilt by Fast by Ferracci to 955cc which produces 137 HP and 78 lb-ft of torque. | CHASSIS: | The chassis of the bike has been modified to improve handling as well as reduce the overall weight. To individualize the aesthetics, the frame and swing arm have been powder coated black wrinkle. | OTHER: | The bike displays a high level of detail and maintains its performance ability. A number of carbon fiber parts were added, not only for aesthetics but also to reduce the overall weight. Due to all of the work, the overall wet weight has been reduced to 404 pounds with one gallon of gas. The color scheme of the bike utilizes some of Ducati's original design ideas but has been tweaked to individualize the bike and display the underlying carbon fiber. | SIGNIFICANCE: | I purchased this bike new in 1999. This is my first and the only Ducati that I own. Over the years I have modified the bike to its current condition - far from what it was when I purchased it. All of the work was done by myself except for the engine modification. |
